Electric Bike (eBike) Hire @ Wellington

See what the eBikes buzz is all about! Do as much or as little pedalling as you like, and let our eBikes take the wind and fitness (or motivation!) levels out of the equation. Discover Wellington by eBike - follow the historic waterfront area as you make your way around the harbour to the famous Te Papa Museum. Take care, as this is a shared cycle and pedestrian area, and can get busy. Follow the pathway around the harbour as you reach the golden sands of Oriental Bay, then from here follow the cycle lanes out to Evans Bay, and the Miramar Peninsula. For those looking for a longer ride, head around the peninsula past Shellly Bay all the way to Scorching Bay (note you'll be on quiet country roads, not cycle paths at this point). We highly recommend taking a break at the Scorch-O-Rama cafe, before heading back the way you came.

Recommended timeframes:

1 hour - enough to explore the city and waterfront areas - 6km return

2 hours - takes you further out to Evans Bay and the Miramar Peninsula - 20km return

3 hours - enough time to go all the way through to Scorching Bay, grab an icecream or coffee, before heading back into the city (recommended) - 30km return

Full day - discover all the above, plus take in other famous Wellington sites: Mount Victoria Lookout, Breaker Bay & Lyall Bay
